No frills? No fun! We like our sweaters with a little extra flavor, and the Bijou pullover has it all. Featuring sleeves with a bit of puff on the cuff, beautiful lace panels, and playful ruffles along at the shoulders, this piece is irresistible. Bijou is knit at a loose gauge to create a fabric that is lightweight and airy with excellent drape. The baby suri alpaca in Penna gives this sweater an ethereal halo – it’s truly a dream to knit and to wear!

Universal Yarn Penna (50% baby suri alpaca, 28% extrafine merino, 22% nylon; 25g/186 yds)
• 114 Bordeaux – 6 (7, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12) skeins
Needle: US size 6 (4 mm) straight and set of DPNs and 16” circular needle (for ruffle) or preferred needle for knitting flat or size needed to obtain gauge
US Size 5 (3.75 mm) straight or your preferred needle for knitting flat
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers

GAUGE
20 sts x 28 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch (St st)

PATTERN NOTES
This pullover is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed. After seaming, stitches are picked up and knit around each sleeve to create the ruffle.
